Palazzo Pitti is a magnificent Renaissance palace located on the south side of the Arno River in Florence, Italy. Originally built for the Pitti family in 1458, the palace was later acquired by the powerful Medici family in the 16th century and became their primary residence. Today, Palazzo Pitti is one of Florence’s most important cultural landmarks, housing several museums and galleries, including the famous Palatine Gallery.
