Kula Lotrščak (Lotrščak Tower) is one of the most iconic landmarks in Zagreb, Croatia, and a key part of the city’s medieval fortifications. Located in the historic Upper Town (Gornji Grad), the tower was built in the 13世紀 to guard the southern gate of the town’s defenses. Its name, Lotrščak, is derived from the word “lotri” or “thieves,” as the tower was used to sound a bell at night to signal the closing of the city gates, ensuring that all citizens were inside and preventing thieves from entering.

Trg Kralja Tomislava (King Tomislav Square) is one of the most iconic and historically significant squares in Zagreb, Croatia. Named after King Tomislav, the first king of Croatia, who ruled in the 10th century, this grand square is a central hub in the city and an important green space in Lower Town (Donji Grad). The square is located at the southern end of Zrinjevac Park and is part of the “Green Horseshoe,” a series of connected parks and squares that form a horseshoe shape around Zagreb’s city center.
