Rising above the historic streets of Stampace, one of Cagliari’s oldest quarters, the Chiesa Collegiata di Sant’Anna er et mesterverk av 18th-century Baroque architecture, dominating the urban landscape with its monumental beauty. Construction began in 1722, after an earthquake destroyed the earlier church on this site, and the new building quickly became one of the most important religious and cultural landmarks in Cagliari. The atmosphere is one of dignity and devotion, deeply rooted in the traditions of the Stampace community.
